About the Peachtree Handspinners Guild

The Peachtree Handspinners Guild is a non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation and perpetuation of the art of handspinning, to the promotion of interest in spinning through education, and to providing instruction and social life in spinning.

The Guild meets the FOURTH SATURDAY of the Month at various locations. The meetings are from 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm, with changes posted in the newsletter published monthly. Occasionally, we meet on the third Saturday because of holidays or special events. Please check theĀ calendar for details.

  • Participation in several events throughout the year demonstrating.
  • Weekend Retreats to spend time with other spinners socializing and spinning.
  • Distaff Day Gathering: Spinners honor the tradition of returning to the daily chore of spinning in January after the holiday season with, of course, a party!
  • Holiday Social: A real End-of-the-year Bash!
  • Special Workshops.
